2nd Conference on Ammonia and Greenhouse Gases Emissions from Animal Production
Buildings
Despite very important advances in the last years, measuring atmospheric emissions from livestock houses and mitigating them effectively are still challenging tasks for scientists, farmers and the whole society.
The aim of this conference, organised within the framework of the COST Action LivAGE (http://cost-livage.eu/), is to contribute to overcome some of the following challenges: harmonizing measurement protocols, measuring emissions from naturally ventilated buildings more accurately, developing effective mitigation strategies suitable for the heterogeneous livestock production systems in Europe, and involving industry more effectively.
The relevant contributions to other related challenges such as animal welfare, antimicrobial reduction or adaptation to climate change (particularly in hot climates) are welcome as well.
